After narrowly missing out on their second European League of Football (ELF) title in 2024, the Vienna Vikings are aiming for another big coup in 2025. To kick off the new season, the Vienna Vikings will face the Prague Lions away from home on 18 May. The Vikings will then play their first home game on 24 May against the Fehérvár Enthroners in the Hohe Warte Naturarena.

A week later, Head Coach Chris Calaycay's team will face Rhein Fire in Düsseldorf - the first time since the 2024 Championship Game, which the Viennese lost 20-51. The big Austrian clash with the Raiders Tirol will then take place in the Generali-Arena on Saturday, 7 June! Last year, the Vikings came out on top with a clear 27-6 victory. The first bye week will be followed by the second clash with Rhein Fire on Saturday 21 June.

Tickets are available here from Tuesday 18 February - exclusively for Austria Wien fans with the code FAK1911. All other ticket information is available directly from the Vienna Vikings. Behind the scenes, work is already underway to create an entertaining and thrilling gameday experience for fans and the whole family.

Cooperation in the Ballsportgymnasium

In addition to the violet colour, Austria Wien and the Vienna Vikings are linked above all by the Ballsportgymnasium, where players from both clubs enjoy their school education. The dual education system of the Ballsportgymnasium enables the young athletes to concentrate on their sporting careers on the one hand and to work towards their school-leaving certificate with full energy on the other.
