The break due to international matches is coming to an end, and the Violets are back in action this weekend. In recent days, there has also been good news regarding the personnel situation. "With James Holland and Marvin Potzmann, two players have returned to team training, which gives us more room to maneuver", said Michael Wimmer. "We have worked well in terms of content over the last few days, but have also used this time to clear our heads and regenerate mentally."

With fans and statistics behind us

The fact that Austria Wien has to play the next three games away from home - Hartberg is followed by Altach in the league (Sun., Sept. 24, 2:30 p.m.) and St. Anna in the Cup (Wed., Sept. 27, 6:30 p.m.) - makes no difference to the preparation per se. "Of course, we are always very happy to play in our stadium and in front of our fans, the atmosphere is fantastic every time. But I am convinced that our fans will again support us in Hartberg in large numbers and loudly", Wimmer is pleased.

Available online or on sunday at the guest box office for 17 euros.

Against Hartberg, the Violets have gone six games without losing a point, and the last time there were more wins in a row in the Bundesliga was from 2012 to 2015 in seven games against Mattersburg. The last three victories also came without conceding a goal. But it won't be easy in Hartberg: "Hartberg is ahead of us in the table, they have started well and are definitely a competitor for a place in the champions' group. We don't expect an easy game, we have to be brave, we need good solutions. What is clear is that we remain true to our idea and our way."

"Get back on track"

With a win, Andreas Gruber, who is facing his 200th Bundesliga game, & Co would overtake Hartberg. Wimmer: "It's an important game in order not to lose touch in terms of points. We will do everything we can to get back on track."

Tin Plavotić (ankle injury) and Johannes Handl (muscle fiber tear) remain unavailable. In this context, "smart squad decisions have to be made with regard to the Austrian pot", Wimmer explains.
