A total of eleven training sessions, including two in the gym and one individual session, as well as two test matches are on the agenda. On Saturday, January 11 at 1 pm (local time: 3 pm), the team will face NŠ Mura from Slovenia, and on January 16 at 1 pm (local time: 3 pm) against Serbian Conference League participant FK TSC, a game played over four 30-minute periods.
“We also want to bring our style of play to the pitch in these two tests, that's what we're looking for. Overall, it's about developing a bit further. All the players will get their playing time and the opportunity to show what they can do”, said coach Stephan Helm, whose first impressions of the Titanic Mardan Palace are extremely positive. “We have the best conditions here at the hotel to continue growing together as a team.”
In addition to technical and tactical content, the coaching team is also focusing on a sense of togetherness. “We've thought about and organized a few things, want to make the most of everything here under professional conditions and work as a team - in the right doses, of course”, explains Helm. With Ralph Krueger, Werner Zöchling and Franky Schiemer, external experts are also present at the training camp at various times.
On the pitch, the aim is to build on the good work done in the fall: “There were many things that worked well in phases in the first half of the season, but conversely there are also things that we need to work on more. The aim is to become clearer in all areas and we will work intensively on this in the coming days.”
