Austria signs striker Tabakovic from summer

Haris Tabakovic, currently leading the 2nd division scorers' list with 22 goals in 21 games, will move from Austria Lustenau to Austria Wien on a free transfer in the summer. The 27-year-old, 1.94m tall striker signs a three-year contract.

Since his move to Austria Lustenau in the summer of 2020, Haris Tabakovic has scored 40 goals and provided ten assists in 42 second-division matches. Prior to that, the attacker played in his native Switzerland in the highest division with Grasshopper Club Zurich and BSC Young Boys, among others. Tabakovic scored six goals in 15 games for the Swiss U21 national team.
