"We are pleased to have won Fisnik for our path and our idea of football. He is given the opportunity to take the next step in his still young career here, and we are very happy to offer him this platform," says sporting director Manuel Ortlechner.

Asllani started his footballing career in Berlin with BFC Dynamo and moved to Union Berlin's youth team in 2016. In 2018/19, he scored as many goals in 23 games in the U17 Bundesliga, and one season later he scored 15 goals in 16 games in the U19 championship.

In the summer of 2020, a move to Hoffenheim followed, where Asllani was initially deployed for the second team. In the Regionalliga Südwest, Asllani scored 17 goals in 53 games. The nine-time German youth international (4 goals) made his Bundesliga debut in November 2021 and has made ten appearances to date.

The Berliner by birth will join the training of Austria Wien on Friday.

Fisnik Asllani: "I'm very happy to be here and I can't wait to train with the team for the first time and to play in front of the fans on Sunday, I've only heard good things. For me, it's all about playing my way into the team to get as many appearances as possible and help the club with goals."
