Lorenzo Coco joins Austria Wien from Ried

FK Austria Wien is planning ahead. Lorenzo Coco, an 18-year-old talent, will join the club on loan until the summer, after which there will be an option to buy him.

Coco has played in all the junior national teams and has every right to hope for the U19 elite round, which will take place in March.

At the Violets, by the way, he will meet many faces that are already familiar to him, as he already knows Muharem Huskovic, Leonardo Ivkic or Florian Wustinger very well from various selection games.

Coco is an offensive player who prefers to play on the wing, but can also play other midfield positions. He has already been integrated into Harald Suchard's preparations and has already played two test matches for the Young Violets.

Sporting Director Manuel Ortlechner: "We see great potential in Lorenzo, he is still young and an exciting personnel. We will introduce him carefully and let him try out for the Young Violets first."

Coach Harald Suchard: "It's great that another young talent has decided to join us, we are very happy about that. Lorenzo showed a lot of energy and commitment in the trial training and convinced us of himself. Austria Vienna will definitely help him on his way and in his development, we will do everything for it."

Lorenzo Coco: "I am looking forward to the new challenge and to my future at Austria Wien. Austria's good work with young players caught my eye and convinced me. I hope that I can show myself here."
