Members vote unanimously in favor of investor contract

Prior to the vote, the details of the investor search and the investor contract, as well as the future plans, were explained to the ordinary members.

The resolution includes the sale of 40% of the shares of FK Austria Wien AG and the granting of an option to acquire a further 10.1% of the club's shares in the AG.

President Frank Hensel:

"The investor entry gives us financial planning security over several years and is essential for the future of the club."

CEO Gerhard Krisch:

"Our conservative financial planning for the next few years continues to include cutting costs and generating additional revenues in order to achieve a positive operating result from the 2022/23 season onwards: we have already started this process. Until then, it will be a tough road that I will implement here with my team."

Jürgen Werner:

"Austria Wien is a great traditional club that has fallen into disarray, but has great potential if everyone thinks in the same direction. There is a huge pool of talented young players. The important thing is that we develop an Austria DNA."

Sporting Director Manuel Ortlechner:

"We want to develop an Austria DNA - our game - and a new culture. In doing so, we also have to do justice to Austria's history. We need a unified philosophy, a common language, clearly defined behaviors and principles. I want Austria Wien to stand for something that is attractive to external players in the future."
