The Violets face USV Neulengbach on Saturday (3:00 pm) in the last away game of the basic round. They have had a very strong record recently, but Stefan Kenesei's team will have to give their all in the penultimate game before the division of the table to keep pace with league leaders SKN St. Pölten. Recently, ÖFB women's team boss Alexander Schriebl was also able to see the quality of the Violets for himself.

The basic round is drawing to a close. Only two games remain before the first ever division of the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga. The Violets' last away game before this historic event will be in Neulengbach on Saturday.
While the violet women have already secured their place in the championship group, the Lower Austrians are still fighting for fourth place. They are currently five points behind fellow contenders Sturm Graz. Two wins and two defeats for Graz at the same time would see them move up to fourth place and into the championship group.
Austria, meanwhile, can look back on a strong record. They have won five of their last six games, all of which they have kept clean sheets. With 37 points, they are still hot on the heels of St. Pölten (39).
Head coach Stefan Kenesei knows that Neulengbach will be highly motivated: ‘We've already won 2-0 against Neulengbach in the league and in the cup this year, so we know very well what to expect. At the same time, Neulengbach have scored a lot of points and performed well at home this year. They are also aiming for a top four place, which means they will do everything they can to secure a win. We need a cool head and a clear plan, we want to win away from home and have the ambition to win these difficult games.’
The ÖFB women's team manager Alexander Schriebl was also recently able to see the quality of the violet team for himself. Last Wednesday, he visited the Violets' training session together with assistant coach Sara Schaible.
Kick-off in Neulengbach is at 15:00 on Saturday. The match will be broadcast live on ÖFB TV.
