Alon Turgeman leaves Austria Wien

After two and a half years with Austria Wien, the 29-year-old striker will return to Israeli first division club Hapoel Haifa, where he already played in the 2017/18 season before his move to Austria Wien. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transfer details.

In the spring of 2020, Alon Turgeman was loaned out to Polish first division club Wisla Krakow before returning to Austria Wien in the summer. However, the Israeli striker missed most of the fall season due to a torn hamstring and only made three appearances shortly before the winter break, scoring one goal.

In his two and a half years at Austria Wien, Turgeman was repeatedly set back by injuries. In total, he made 31 appearances for the Violets, scoring eleven goals and contributing four assists.

On behalf of the Austria Wien family, we would like to thank Alon Turgeman for his commitment and wish him all the best and good health for the future!
